Who Can Appear for the AIBE?
The AIBE is open to:
- Final Semester Law Students: Those in the last semester of their LL.B. course (3-year or 5-year) without any backlogs.
- Law Graduates Without Enrollment: Graduates who have completed their LL.B. but have not yet enrolled with a State Bar Council., but have to enroll within 6 months of passing it, and resign the current job .otherwise, you have to give again
- Employed Law Graduates: Graduates who have surrendered their enrollment certificates due to employment but wish to resume legal practice.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for AIBE-XIX:
- Your law college or university must be recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
- Final semester students must have no backlogs.
- Graduates awaiting their LL.B. degree certificate must ensure their institution is BCI-approved.
Note: Failure to meet these criteria will result in disqualification.
Registration Process
- Fill the Registration Form: Use the official AIBE registration link provided on the Bar Council of India's website.
- Undertaking Submission:
- Download the undertaking form from the AIBE portal.
- Upload a scanned, signed copy (mobile photos are not allowed).
- Upload Enrollment Certificate: Candidates already enrolled must submit a self-attested enrollment certificate.
Document Submission Guidelines
- For Final Semester Students:
- 3-Year LL.B.: Submit self-attested, scanned copies of Semester I-V marksheets.
- 5-Year LL.B.: Submit self-attested, scanned copies of Semester I-IX marksheets.
- For Graduates Without Degrees:
- 3-Year LL.B.: Submit marksheets from Semester I-VI.
- 5-Year LL.B.: Submit marksheets from Semester I-X.
Important: Ensure all documents are from a BCI-recognized institution.
